SCALE UPGRADES, REFURBISHMENT, AND REPAIRS
Scales and printers (except those damaged by misuse) are repaired at no charge within one year of purchase.  After one year all work is charged at $60 per hour shop rate plus parts. All LITTLE GIANT scales are serviced at the Dayton, Ohio location.   All older scales can be upgraded to provide all features of the current model HLS- 4.   Cost to upgrade to an HLS- 4 with new front / back panels, switches, manual and one year warranty varies from $850 to $2900 depending on the age and condition of the scale.   Out-of-warranty, on-site, factory engineer service calls are $650 per day (1/2 day increments) plus travel cost beyond 100 miles from Dayton, Ohio.

INSTALLATION OF THE LITTLE GIANT
Many customers have installed and calibrated the LITTLE GIANT load scale by following the detailed installation instructions in the manual. Unlimited assistance by phone is included in the purchase of the LITTLE GIANT.   On-site installation is available. The cost to have a factory engineer present for the installation, check out, calibration, and instruction is $650 plus travel expense. You must provide a workshop and mechanic with a welder. Installation can be done outside depending on the weather. Call the factory for details and an exact quote. Your local dealer can also quote an installation charge and what you must have available. A typical installation requires one day. Check out, calibration, and instruction requires one-half day. A truck scale or known weight must be available for the calibration.

The LITTLE GIANT load scale has been manufactured and serviced in our Dayton, Ohio facility since 1992. The scale, printer, or parts can be returned undamaged within 30 days for a complete refund if you are not satisfied. Order through your dealer or directly from Leonard Research Corporation. List prices are firm for the scale, printer, and parts.  Quantity discounts only may apply on the scale and printer.  All Items are plus shipping fob Dayton, OH.  Terms are net 30 days to established customers upon receipt of a signed purchase order.  Payment is required in advance for new customers.
